Utilising tools such as SSAB’s proprietary Wear Calc software and laboratory testing we can work with you on understanding your wear challenges and the abrasive materials you handle and develop cost-effective solutions. We are experts in the combination of material selection and wear design to manage abrasive sliding and impact wear – as well as having a deep knowledge of how to work with these materials in the workshop and on-site. This is critical as if the best material solution from a wear management perspective is not able to be repaired or replaced on site – it is probably not the right solution for you!
